Organization Settings Overview
Manage your organization's settings including team members, billing, and API access.
Organization settings control shared aspects of your Plotwise workspace. These settings affect everyone in the organization.
Accessing Organization Settings
- Click organization name (top left)
- Select "Organization settings"
Or navigate to: /organizations/{org}/settings/organization
Organization Settings Sections
General
Basic organization information:
- Organization name
- Logo/avatar
- Default settings

Account vs. Organization Settings

Organization Roles
Owner
- Full access to all settings
- Can delete organization
- Can transfer ownership
- Manages billing
Admin
- Manage members
- Change organization settings
- Cannot delete organization
- Cannot manage billing (usually)
Member
- Access features based on permissions
- Cannot change organization settings
- Can update personal settings
Quick Actions
Change Organization Name
- Go to General settings
- Edit organization name
- Save changes
Invite Team Member
- Go to Members settings
- Click "Invite member"
- Enter email address
- Select role
- Send invitation
Update Payment Method
- Go to Billing settings
- Click "Payment methods"
- Add or update card
- Save
Generate API Key
- Go to Developers settings
- Click "Create API Key"
- Name the key
- Copy and store securely
Managing Multiple Organizations
If you're a member of multiple organizations:
- Each organization has separate settings
- Switch organizations to manage each
- Settings don't transfer between orgs
- Billing is separate per organization
